A video offering a tour and information on the Bachmann House in Easton. Although the students will see this on the tour it will be a great way for them to become familiar with its history.

4-d-1 Print sources for Project
George Washington
This is another great site that can be used along with the lesson I posted for this Module. It has many prints of Washington's famous crossing of the Delaware that the students can explore and contrast.
Easton Photo Album
A good website that offers pictures of all of the places we will be visiting on our walking tour, it would be good to use as an introduction before we go.
This site provides digital images of colonial currency. It will be a great asset in teaching the students what life would have been like in Eaton during the colonial era. It providea them with examples of what type of currency would have been used.
Philadelphia
Copies of paintings of colonial Philadelphia. This will be a great resouce for the students to get an idea of what a typical colonial town would have looked like during the Revolution. Can be linked to what Easton would have been like during the time period.
Agreat source for portraits of many of the famous Americans that played a role in the Revolution. Students can analyze the portrait and discuss how each painting portrays that person, and also it will give them a sense of the style of the time period.

I use this site often for studying colonial life, this particular piece of it would be great because it ives my students a chance to dissect a song the children in Easton may have learned during the Revolution.

This site would give my students a chance to listen to songs that were popular among the colonist during the Revolution. It will give them exposure to a type of music they probably have not heard very often before.

I am in the process of locating a copy of this book because it seems to contain copies of original sheet music that my students can see.

Both the students and I will be conducting interview with local residents that are a part of either the local library's history room, or the Genealogical Society. These people will provide both stories and information from Easton's past.

A primary Soucrs map of the original 13 colonies. The students will use this to analyze how the country started and how it has grown. It will also help them see how the original colonies have changed.

Although this map has a lot of information on it, it can be used for students to locate towns around them and significant towns in Pennsylvania during the 1700's.

Colonial Williamsburg website has several short videos that examine what trades woud have been found in colonial towns. Trades like these would have also been common in Easton.
